Soooooo, here's my 2 cents, lol, I usually watch your videos and this one right here is speaking my language, I'm 51, Now, just turned it and I HONESTLY feel and look about 38-40, respectfully I was diagnosed with under active thyroid about 2021, and at first I thought I could heal it with natural herbs, like milk thistle, BUT that didn't work. I don't like taking anything. So coming from going thru a divorce and drinking a bottle of red 🍷 a night for about a year, I was angry. The Dr. said That event could've triggered a hormonal imbalance, along with age and menopause, WHICH I didn't even realize had happened 😅anyhow, since then I've kept off 70 pounds and I'm still trying to lose these last 30, going for a HUNDRED. I HAD TO GET SMARTER, I HAD to count Micros AND MACROS, I began READING EVERY SINGLE LABEL,I went vegan for about 18 months, to REALLY RESET my system, discovered a lot of the vegan food was trash, and then decided on WHOLE FOODS, low fat , low carb, light salt, NO sugar and VERY light meat. I haven't eaten red meat in about 14 years, I like pork, BUT I only indulge in like a pack a bacon a year, 😅, JUST PERFORMED a couple tests on myself to discover I can ONLY eat Organic chicken tenderloins, the OTHER stuff, I don't know what they're SHOOTING in it........ But my system doesn't like it.... I eat 1 Main meal a day, evening, BUT I drink a protein PACKED shake ALMOST every day. Which includes about 40-45 grams of protein and I AIM for about 100g of protein a day, I DO NOT want to LOSE MUSCLE 💪🏽 My smoothie has a Chlorella, Spirulina and kelp, Supplement, powdered beets, an electrolyte bcuz, I be ON THE GO, 🫐 and blackberries, lime juice, fresh cinnamon, flax seeds pnut butter powder which is 16g and a yellow pea protein powder which has 16g of protein. It's SOOOOOO GOOD 😋😋 ADD ice and I'm good. I don't know how in the world you're going to lose weight WITHOUT renewing your mind ABOUT this next phase of your life. I KNOW your a Christian as I am myself and I CAN'T even understand why I have this diagnosis BCUZ as soon as my feet HIT THE FLOOR, I'm moving. I take care of an Elderly Disabled mother and my son, who has Autism, I've been running my own delivery service being a Lyft Driver and Instacart shopper, I BE ON THE MOVE, BUT GOD. I BELIEVE God is showing me some things I'm going to need in the future in regards to taking care of myself. I want to get remarried, travel, etc. And HEALTH IS WEALTH. I don't have a lot of the symptoms the people talk about. I had NO IDEA I was under active OR LOW on Vitamin D, I be feeling like Super WOMAN 🦸🏽‍♀️🦸🏽‍♀️🦸🏽‍♀️🦸🏽‍♀️, I'm always in the gym, I'll be going today, went yesterday, my background is dance, track n field, swimming, etc being active is me, so this diagnosis is weird to me. I EXPECT GOD to COMPLETELY HEAL my thyroid. PERIODTTT 👌🏽 I DODGED high blood pressure and high cholesterol, I told the Dr. I'm NOT taking any medicine, let me change, AND DID. ALSO, you NOT eating is REALLY crazy, it SIMPLY MEANS, for example, you have a car WITH gas in it and IT'S ALWAYS got gas BCUZ you NEVER go anywhere, so there's NEVER a need to fill up, OR refill. 🤔, NOTHING will change unless, you RUN OUT the gas, (weight), FILL UP(FOOD), RUN OUT, etc and repeat. I apologize for the length of this comment, I've NEVER in the history of Obama's internet ever wrote anything THIS long but it's important and wanted to relate my experience. I am from Columbus Ohio, born and raised, 5'9, was 335 and currently sitting at 265. I wear a size 14-16 and I'd like to get to 230, I'll take 240 as I look pretty good, but am a work in progress, THANKS for reading if you did and CONSISTENCY IS KEY 👌🏽 Ohh and the part about Cruciferous vegetables, I was on that at first, BUT with much research, discovered there is ABSOLUTELY NO Diet for under active thyroid. NONE. I LIKE, NO love cabbage and it ALSO keeps my weight in check PLUS I SERVE an awesome GOD, Soooooo maybe for other folks, Cruciferous vegetables are a no no but for me, they're ok, And Soy was also a supposed "No no" I DO stay away from all things Soy, except Organic tofu, WHICH I just had, BCUZ it's Sunday, an immaculate Tofu, spinach , egg white, mung bean, onion, scramble with a Lil cheese and cayenne pepper cooked in veggie broth BCUZ I don't use a lot of oil. THIS meal is HIGH VOLUME, low calorie, low fat, ALL THE THINGS, I try to STAY around 1500-1600 calories a day. Chiiillleee, I'm All OVER this thing. I REFUSE to be on medicine. 😊

Loving the video. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism/ graves disease 2 years ago. Ended io having a total rhyeoid removal 1 month ago. Now i have to take a thyroid supplement. Before surgwry i had gained alot of weight. Hopefully ill be able to wokout and slim down some once I get the okay feom the doctor to workout. You for this! 💪

What is it with this constipation I'm older than you but it seems to be touching alot of us pass a certain age omg. But i too have lost 13 pounds and now my scale it don't Move.😔🤦‍♀️ Idk but imma keep at it I'm barely eating but that doesn't seem to matter. I swear I treat that thing like we're in a toxic relationship! I tip toe past it like..if u don't say nuf'n 2 me I won't say nuf'n 2 u🤦🏾‍♀️. ..that's awful I know 😄

The whole foods by me had the meal plans. I got the rosemary chicken. They also had lasagna and green beans and chicken cutlet dish. If the food is good I will use it weekly because it's cost effective

Wow, I feel like we are exactly the same. I am not a person that will plan in. Oh I gotta have this and I gotta have that I don’t like eating out. I don’t like you know to sit and pick time out of my day to sit and eat, I feel like eating is more of a nuisance to me than anything but wow, the idea of going to Whole Foods in splitting that meal in five ways is outstanding I live alone, so that would work perfectly for me

Following you for quite a while. Always genuine. Beautiful inside and out.💙 The biggest game-changer for me....focusing on how I felt, clothes getting looser, body recomp and not obsessing with the scale. Of course, being in a calorie deficit. No more yo-yo dieting. Food isn't the enemy. All about balance. Wish you well on your health journey.

Girllllll I feel like you're telling my story. I have thyroid cancer, hashimotos disease, ovarian cyst, and colon issues (chrons). I usually lose weight easily with increased activity but my body does the opposite now. I usually eat once a day because I'm just not hungry like that but it's like they don't believe me. I swear they think all fat folks sit at a buffet all day. No, my body system is screwed AF with all these issues and I need help figuring out how to work it out. I don't want more drugs.

I take the same medicine that you take. I have also thyroid problems. You have your doctor up dose of your medicine .my doctor up dose my medicine to 137.
